Cleaning Instructions

Before any cleaning takes place isolate your Heat Recovery Ventilation System from mains and refer to your operating guide.

We suggest you wear gloves and eye protection when using sterilising products. Should you spill any of the solutions on any other surfaces, bleaching damage could occur.

Please refer to your operating guide for appropriate cleaning solution.

Cleaning procedures

Heat Exchanger: Remove exchanger and wash ensuring that the sterilising solution goes in-between the Cell plates.

Condensate Drain Pipes: Soak a bottlebrush, or similar, in the sterilising solution. Drain and clean the pipes using the brush. Ensure that you rinse and dry all parts thoroughly, after using the solution.

Filters: Remove the filters, if possible, and wipe clean with the sterilising solution, take extra care not to damage the filter. Ensure that you rinse and dry all parts thoroughly, after using the solution.

General Cleaning: Should you see any signs of mould or fungal growth, wipe down all parts with the sterilising solution. Ensure that you rinse and dry all parts thoroughly, after using the solution.
