A typical household of four people can produce up to 18 litres of moisture per day simply by breathing, cooking and washing.

Without a continuous flow of fresh air an internal atmosphere quickly becomes stale and moisture ridden. This leads to

condensation, mould growth and, in some cases, damage to the actual fabric of a building itself.

There is a close link between spores of many moulds and fungi (including timber-attaching fungi) to allergies and asthma, with many of these spores being carcinogenic, toxic and ripe for infections.

How do our systems help?

Our heat recovery ventilation system works by removing the moisture laden air and replacing it simultaneously with fresher, drier and warmer air. They also target areas where condensation builds up, not just ‘wet rooms’ but also any area where the fresh air is struggling to reach.
