Experts are warning that a severe cold snap could take place from today; warnings of blizzard like conditions have been forecast. We have 4 inches of snow and 100 mph winds to look forward to!

The met office has issued a maximum level red extreme weather warning for strong winds and heavy snow today and tomorrow in the North, snow is forecast for as far South as Birmingham.
