SAP Appendix Q

SAP appendix Q is the way in which information, which was not available when SAP was published, is accessible to energy performance assessors. It measures product performance and set boundaries in which only the most efficient products comply with.

Continuous mechanical ventilation products with or without heat recovery have to be independently tested by the BRE or an approved independent test house, in order to comply with SAP Appendix Q. Every product that does comply is featured on the sap-appendixq.org.uk website.
